A wet Sunday with new punches

 Sunday saw me playing with 2 new Stamping-up punches I cut out in the bright green card and once again I have not put a sentiment on yet

Rena and I spent a lovely demo at Cullen Crafts in which we were shown these cards and just by folding  carefully you make 2 pockets one on the front the other inside and gift ideas are endless, money,gift cards,seeds, teabags  etc. I will link with Cullen crafts and send this photo these cards are not finished yet so will be back with the finished ones. see you soon

Year Book of hand made cards

 I saw this book of pussy cards in Aldi and got the Idea of putting a selection of my handmades in each months pocket/

 I gave one to my mum and she never forgets family birthdays. The book cost £5 or £6 and makes a great gift.

 they only have them once a year and well worth the money. I am sure anyone would be happy with a gift like this

Jubillee Anniversary

This is a card i made with a freebie from squiggles digi stamps  and I will give it to friends for their 18th anniversary this month.

I bought the mimic dvd and made this card for hubby Jim. He  loves everything to do with cars and motoring..Birthday today!!!!!!!!

Tuesday morning coffee stop

Rena bought a GORJUSS rubber stamp so we all made a card/ keyring with the stamp and  also the gents card made with the waistcoat i made it a birthday card which my hubby will get on the 4th June his 67th birthday.We have our 45th wedding Anniversary on Saturday. you get less for murder now!

Roses and Ribbons SQUIGGLES latest competition , top card has Evie holding a bunch of Roses and her dress has lovely frills , I have added  a rose with ribbons up on left side top a bit like a fascinator.


This card is  Rosie and I made her skirt of ribbons along with a rose and small pieces of ribbon  attached. top left side has some bling and the easel is held behind more roses.

Rena & I went to a make and take at Cullen Crafts yesterday  pm we enjoyed the class and this is my attempt of the canvas I have had a few ideas i would like to do another we were given the step by step instruction's so keep your eyes open.

top photos were demonstrated at Cullen Crafts on Sunday demo of do crafts, the WELLINGTON teddy being the theme, 2nd &3rd are cards Rena and myself made this morning to be used for fathers day and the 5th is a copy of  a new style which has 2 pockets  these could be handy for money, tickets .tea bags ,packets of seeds or whatever you  could think of for whatever topic like the second card above. . You will probably see it again in some other form on this blog. Keep looking!!

Having made some retro cards for the oldest granddaughter these are little 3 x3inch cards for my younger granddaughter for her friends. we will put some sparkly confetti  in each envelope when sending them out

My  oldest grandaughter has just had a retro makeover of her bedroom and it inspired me to do some cards for
her to give her pals for their birthday's,.

This is a new style for me and it was made for my youngest son Paul who is recovering from a very bad collarbone injury The Chinese words are appropriate /health/love etc I hope he has a fast recovery.

may 1st

May 1st coffee morning these were only made yesterday and the Large red one I am giving to a very close friend who just lost her grandmother  and the Poppie does make us all think of Remembrance Day. A grandma is always remembered with great love.

Anything but a card these little note books (asda) and small pen (check it works)

I make loads of these at christmas with Christmas Stamps and mark them with BEST TEACHER.
Great pressy to give to your  children for their teachers.

A Little bit of fun

In  the may edition of Papercraft & Inspiration i saw an article about Quilling now I happen to have an unopened craft box that has been in a cupboard for years. They do say keep something for 7 years and you will find a use for it.

the 2 ladies on the easel are new Squiggle Digi's which have been adjusted somewhat  by me for a bit of fun go onto Squiggle stamps and see the correct versions.


The 1st one is Jessabelles Flight but I turned her into a Hairstylist. her belt is for holding her scissors,clips etc. her goggles are sunglasses and her cap has been changed to form a different hairstyle I think I will call her Jemma.


the 2nd one is Jessabelles Stitches she has stitches all over her body so I have made her stitchless and now into a pretty young lady holding a heart I should have left the stitches on the heart and could have she was a beauty with a broken heart. This has been a lot of fun to do hope you like then.
