A Little bit of fun

In  the may edition of Papercraft & Inspiration i saw an article about Quilling now I happen to have an unopened craft box that has been in a cupboard for years. They do say keep something for 7 years and you will find a use for it.

the 2 ladies on the easel are new Squiggle Digi's which have been adjusted somewhat  by me for a bit of fun go onto Squiggle stamps and see the correct versions.


The 1st one is Jessabelles Flight but I turned her into a Hairstylist. her belt is for holding her scissors,clips etc. her goggles are sunglasses and her cap has been changed to form a different hairstyle I think I will call her Jemma.


the 2nd one is Jessabelles Stitches she has stitches all over her body so I have made her stitchless and now into a pretty young lady holding a heart I should have left the stitches on the heart and could have she was a beauty with a broken heart. This has been a lot of fun to do hope you like then.

GIRLY GIRLS WITH LOTS OF SPARKLE

  It is cold today so decided to do some flowers and used some of a  box of white petals for decorating wedding tables £1 from poundland added some candy from craftworks in different colours, some sparkles and my new Jessables no stitches. the other stamp is called the Artist. Going down to see my grandchildren in Edinburgh so will see what they think of them. I thought they might be good to put prom pictures in as keepsakes.Just a bit of sparkly fun. thankyou for looking.xxx

Tuesday before easter

a coffee morning selection I hope u like the red and black sympathy card who says it should be traditional.
I made 3 Easter boxes to the grandchildren and forgot to take a photo who is a dumplin!!!! I  have added one of the boxes that I gave to my grankids with their easter treats . Could not find the other 2 .

My carding friend Rena was asked to do both of these  the top one BIRTHDAY   and bottom for a WEDDING and there is no dought that these black and whites are beautiful.

These are 3 of the new Jezebels from SQUIGGLES DIGI'S i was so keen I had to sit down today and work on them will be looking for occasions to use them but thought i could share them with you

march 2012

every 2 weeks we have a lovely coffee morning with some very nice ladies and the homebakes are great gluten free goodies.

I seem to be among lots of babies these were made for a new baby girl called Sophia Claire and her
big  sister Olivia Ruby i made a smaller card for her in case she feels this new baby is getting all the attention.

This is the finished baby card and folded sheet to hold card in I have put inside the card 1 of those annoying lullaby music  do Dar's so every time they open the card lo & behold off it goes. Hope mum and dad like it!.

squiggles competition ALL LOVED UP all heart shapes layered with the love birds stamp coloured and cut. This card will go down to my grandaughter so she can use it for Valentine's

new baby boy coming soon

A baby boy will be here soon so this is a work in progress for one of my crafting friends who will have a new grandchild in February. the next photo will be completed card and envelope.

christmas 2012 prep

I had taken all my cards down on the 6th January and cut up the usable bits & bobs so decided to cut and layer some examples that went well so when I make my eisels i just have to cut out with a nice pattern the white card these are on, it was good fun.When i was little I remember cutting cards with a pinking shears for gift labels. I am still thrifty 

everyday moments

Squiggles January Competition is RECYCLE so this is my interpretations base colour card is what i used for poinsette flovers on xmas cards topped with some kraft paper then the top of an EASTER EGG BOX I folded every second flap inside and dressed the others with left over xmas stash snowflakes also added 3 more shiny flakes. used some very bright hollograph pink and the sentiment   is Everyday Moments  2 Squiggles characters are young folks on the ski and snowboarding slopes having fun..I FORGOT TO SAY BEHIND THE CHARACTER IS A USED c.d.

Its that time of year so the 2 small calanders are backed with Magnetic card so you can put on the fridge
